## Types
- `interface` for object shapes that may be extended; `type` for unions, intersections, and function signatures. Never mix conventions inside one file.
- Derive types from values, never duplicate by hand: `typeof`, `keyof`, `ReturnType<>`, `Parameters<>`, `z.infer<>`.
- Use `unknown` at trust boundaries (JSON parsing, catch clauses, external APIs) and narrow explicitly. `any` is banned.

.claude/skills/code-review/SKILL.md

1. Establish scope. If the user named files, review those. Otherwise run `git diff` and review the union.
2. Pass 1 — Correctness. Hunt for: unhandled null paths, race conditions in async code, missing `await`, missing empty/error states.
3. Pass 2 — Security. Check every Server Action for: auth check inside the function, ownership check on the target row, schema validation of all input.
4. Verify before reporting. Drop anything you cannot trace to a concrete bad outcome.

CLAUDE.md

- `params` and `searchParams` are Promises in Next.js 15 — always `await` them.
- `fetch` is uncached by default — state caching intent explicitly on every call.
- Never put "use client" on a page or layout to silence an error — move interactivity to a leaf.
